Accessibility Statement

ururu is committed to making our platform and the stores we host usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard commonly referenced under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
Conformance status
We consider ururu to be partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. “Partially conformant” means that some parts of the experience may not yet fully meet the standard. Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we are actively working to identify and fix barriers across both the ururu platform (ururu.store) and the merchant storefronts we host on *.ururu.store subdomains.
What we’ve done
- Keyboard access to interactive controls, including navigation, product browsing, the cart, and image galleries.
- Visible focus indicators, a “skip to content” link, and semantic page structure (landmarks and headings).
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, with fallbacks where a merchant has not supplied their own description.
- Respect for the “reduce motion” system setting, and color choices intended to meet AA contrast for normal text.
Merchant-created content
Stores on ururu are created and edited by independent merchants. While we build accessibility into the storefront platform and give merchants tools such as image description (alt text) fields, we cannot guarantee that every merchant-authored description, image, or document is fully accessible. If you encounter a barrier on a specific store, please tell us and we will work with the merchant to address it.
Known limitations
Some third-party components, such as the embedded payment and checkout experience provided by Stripe, are outside our direct control, though we select vendors that support accessibility. We are also continuing to review and improve older content and interactions.

If you have difficulty accessing any part of ururu or a store we host, or if you need information provided in a different format, please contact us at support@ururu.store. Please include the page or store address, a description of the problem, and the assistive technology (if any) you were using. We aim to respond within 5 business days and will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue or provide the information you need in an accessible way.
