Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 22, 2026

Draft. This document is a starting template modeled on standard ecommerce-platform terms and has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer. It is not final and should not be relied on as legal advice.

This Acceptable Use Policy (the “AUP”) describes activities and products that are not allowed on ururu. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may update it as needed, and we may suspend or terminate stores that violate it immediately and without prior notice (see Terms, Section 8). If you’re unsure whether something is allowed, ask us first.

Prohibited Activities

You may not use ururu to:

  • Break the law or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Infringe anyone’s intellectual property — selling counterfeit, pirated, or unlicensed goods is prohibited.
  • Deceive customers, including false advertising, fake reviews, or bait-and-switch pricing.
  • Upload malware, attempt to breach platform security, scrape other merchants’ stores, or interfere with the Service.
  • Harass, threaten, defame, or promote hatred or violence against others.
  • Process payments for a business other than the one operating the store, or use the Service to launder money or evade sanctions.

Prohibited and Restricted Products

You may not sell:

  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, or drug paraphernalia.
  • Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or regulated weapon parts.
  • Sexually explicit material, or any content that sexualizes minors.
  • Stolen goods, counterfeit items, or products that infringe a trademark or copyright.
  • Hazardous materials, recalled products, or items that cannot be sold or shipped lawfully.
  • Items restricted by our payment processor — for example, certain regulated, high-risk, or age-restricted goods. Because payments run through Stripe, the Stripe Restricted Businesses list also applies to you independently under your Stripe agreement.

Reporting

To report a store or content that violates this policy, contact us at support@ururu.store. To report copyright infringement specifically, use the DMCA process in Section 9 of the Terms.
